Charles – A senior software engineer in QA and Test

Areas of Expertise: Software development. Particularly Windows development using either C++, C#, or Python.

Here is what made you stand out to your former employer:

1.) I use design documents besides writing software. I create these documents before writing a single line of code. This idiom enables me to keep track of the scope of the project, solutions/strategies used, and that what I will produce matches with what is expected by the client(s).

2.) I constantly strive to improve processes. For example at my former employer (Intel Corporation), I emailed quite a few ideas to management to improve the current work environment at Intel from improving build systems, to adopting release strategies to make “releasing to the customer” a much simpler process than it was. I also had some ideas for creating test environments (that mimicked the customer environment) without doing a full release in the hope of catching issues quicker than before.

Key Accomplishments: I am an expert Windows developer. I am self-taught on C# and Python.

Technical Skills: C++, C#, Python, Windows Sockets Programming (WinSock 2.0), Visual Studio IDE.

Fun Fact: I am a self-taught classical pianist. I have a YouTube channel with my classical work.

Availability: Immediate Contract, Contract to Hire and Direct Hire opportunities.

Locations: Reside in Sunnyvale, CA.

Meet Your Recruiter

Tom Nacnodovitz

My interest in recruiting stems from my passion to talk to new people and learn about what they’re interested in. Networking has always come easy, so recruiting is a great fit with my outgoing personality! I moved to California back in 2005, and it has introduced me to a new culture, helped me grow as a person, and allowed me to pursue my dreams. Outside of working I love spending time with my wife and young daughter. I enjoy the Santa Cruz lifestyle with my friends and try to skateboard, surf, and golf as often as I can.
